Renya Parnes (b. 1986, New Jersey) is a painter based in Massachusetts. Her practice spans both abstraction and figuration.

Parnes approaches her work through a reductive process—carving into and breaking down form. Her use of organic materials and gestural movement reflects a focus on material tension, intuitive rhythm, musical resonance, and the physicality of mark-making. Her process is informed by a constructivist approach to inquiry and materiality.
